How we know

Last updated 4 October 2026

Every piece of advice in Horavi stands on two things: research you can open, and your own data. Here is how both are chosen, graded and kept honest.

Your own normal first

Horavi compares you with you. Over the first weeks it learns your usual sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate and rhythm, and then reads each day against that baseline, not against an average person. When you try a change, it compares the weeks before and after on your own numbers and tells you whether it worked, did nothing, or it is too early to say.

Where the research comes from

KindSources
ResearchPubMed, Cochrane
Clinical guidelinesAHA, ESC, USPSTF and national guidance
Drug and supplement safetyFDA, EMA, DailyMed; intake limits from NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and EFSA, whichever is stricter
Risk modelsPREVENT, SCORE2, QRISK3, Life’s Essential 8
StandardsLOINC and SNOMED CT for what a value is, UCUM for its unit

How sure: the grades

Each claim carries a grade, shown next to the advice:

  1. Clinical guideline: experts reviewed the whole body of evidence and made a recommendation.
  2. Review of many trials: systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
  3. Randomized trial: a controlled experiment in people.
  4. Large cohort study: people followed over time; shows links, not proof of cause.
  5. Early signal: small or new studies. Shown for interest, and it changes nothing in your plan yet.

Kept up to date

New trials are checked every week and safety notices every day. A new review or guideline, a contrary result or a retraction reopens the claims it touches; a retracted paper is withdrawn from answers, and each claim has a shelf life after which it is checked again.

Rules before AI

Red flags, safety limits and the cases where Horavi must not suggest doses are fixed rules in code, checked before and after the AI model. The model writes the explanation; it does not decide what is safe.

What we do not claim

Research describes groups of people; you may respond differently, which is why Horavi checks every change on you. We have not run a clinical trial of Horavi itself, and we will not say it treats anything. Read the health disclaimer.
